After Chopergate, has gov lard@ss, I mean Gov Christie ruined any chance at a presidential run?

Has anyone ever thought that perhaps taking the one helocopter sans a limosine entourage may be the cheapest mode of travel for someone in his position? I looked up a few private helocopter rental companies (see one source) and found the quotes to average approximately $450 an hour for an oversized model so I would imagine that a full limo entourage with added ground security can't be far off the price (don't feel like receiving limo e-mails for quotes so I cannot research their costs)! In any case, I submit that Christies use of a helicopter should be given the same coverage and scrutiny that Nancy Pelosi got when accused of using military aircraft for personal excursions to SF or the expiration of the 60-day allowable US involvement in Libya is given: NONEXISTANT.
