Why I have gum infection?

I'm 14 and I think that have a gum infection(gingivitis).But it's very strange.I don't smoke cigarettes,i don't have diabetes,stress and etc I eat healthy food.What is the problem causing this ******* disease.And how to stop this infection.Can warm water with salt or betadine solve the problem?

my son was 9 when he got diabetes and the reason i kind of suspected him to have diabetes was because he was thirsty all of the time and when he talked i could hear how dry his mouth was. when we went to the docs they tested his pee and he had diabetes he lost a lot of weight too, best just to get it looked at it only takes a second and it might not be that but the longer you leave it if you do have it you will just fell worse and worse- good luck though

I believe it's because of all the cheese we eat. It woulden't even be so bad if it was some good old aged English Cheddar but no we stuff are face with lard filled American cheese. Which is as much cheese as chalk is.
