Why is greasy food so good?

I went to the Heart Attack grill in Phoenix, AZ, and I ordered a triple bypass burger which was over 2 pounds, flatliner fries dipped in lard, and a butterfat shake. My heart and lungs literally hurt after the meal and I had that horrible heart burn esophagus feeling for a few hours but it was worth it. Why is this horrible garbage so good?
