HELP!!!! IDK WHAT TO DO!!!?

So a girl i love my girlfriend mentions that her mom has diabetes... Im worried cause we both want to grow old and have kids together We both think we are "the one" im worried that if we do our kids will have it.... what do i do... get out or stay?
