I don't have gestational diabetes, but could I still have Type 2 diabetes?

I failed my first gestational diabetes test, but passed my second one. Is it possible to have type 2 diabetes or be a prediabetic or would they have tested for that also. OR would that test indicate type 2 or prediabetes?
